Southern Neurosurgery participates in most major health plans; however, you should know the following about your specific plan:
- Before you receive care, it’s always a good idea to contact your insurance carrier to check your coverage and payment responsibilities. Their phone number is listed on the front or back of your insurance card. They should be able to confirm if the specific plan you have is in or out of network with our office, your annual deductible, copay amount, and if a referral is required.
- If a referral is required, please coordinate all required referrals with your primary care physician and submit to your Southern Neurosurgery at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
- Southern Neurosurgery will submit primary, secondary, and tertiary claims on your behalf as long as the information needed to process the claim is obtained and verified before your visit.
